BLADE offers continuous helicopter flights between West 30th Street and LaGuardia Airport (“LGA”) every weekday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, and Sundays from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in both directions. Ground transport between the LGA helipad and all commercial airline terminals is included in the $195 seat price.
Simply select your desired curbside arrival time (for BLADE to LGA) or commercial flight arrival time (for BLADE from LGA) and an itinerary will be created for you.
How it Works
Once your helicopter lands at the airport, a BLADE vehicle will be waiting to transport you and other passengers to your departure terminal (limit two terminal drop-offs per vehicle). Or you may choose our Meet & Greet service if you prefer a private vehicle with a member of our C/X team to provide assistance with baggage.
After your commercial flight lands at the airport, you will be met by a BLADE vehicle curbside at the arrivals terminal for a short drive to your helicopter. Prior to your jet pulling into the terminal, you will receive a text message with your vehicle type, driver's contact information and meeting location when your commercial fight lands.*
Purchase our “Meet & Greet” service and a BLADE C/X representative will be waiting for you at baggage claim (unless otherwise directed). The greeter will expedite the transfer to your awaiting vehicle. This service is highly recommended and enables us to coordinate with the driver directly on your behalf, minimizing any delays or potential issues you could have locating them.
Make sure to enter your accurate flight information when booking. The departure time of your helicopter flight is based on your commercial flight's scheduled landing time. Our Flier Relations Team will be monitoring your flight and will adjust your helicopter departure to coincide with your actual arrival time, for no additional cost.
After your BLADE lands in Manhattan, feel free to relax at the BLADE Lounge. Book BLADE ground connect to have a vehicle pre-staged at our lounge prior to your arrival, or, our lounge based C/X (Customer Experience) staff can assist you with ordering a car from a hailing app.

Only one 25lb commercial airline carry-on per person is allowed which will be stored in the aircraft's baggage compartment. View our detailed luggage policy here. BLADE has partnered with Tote Taxi to pickup and deliver baggage anywhere in Manhattan below 90th Street. The $85 service includes two checked-size bags; additional bags are $40 each. You or a representative (doorman, family member, etc) must be present during the entire pickup and delivery window.
BLADE to Airport: For BLADE flights before 2pm; you must book tote taxi by noon the day prior; pickups are made the day before your flight between 3pm and 6pm. For BLADE flights departing after 2pm; you must book tote taxi by 5am the same day; bags will be picked up between 7am – 11am on the same day as your flight. Bags will be waiting for you at the heliport and placed in your vehicle for transportation to the curb. BLADE will not check in bags with your commercial airline on your behalf.
BLADE from Airport: Airport – NYC bags are picked up at the airport after 7:15PM and delivered in the evening. You must claim your own baggage upon arrival. BLADE will take possession of luggage curbside (or can assist in terminal for meet & greet customers).
Last Minute Baggage: BLADE can assist with last minute baggage transfer for an additional fee of $350.
For flights from NYC to LGA, if you arrive less than 10 minutes prior to your departure time, you will be deemed to have missed your flight. You may choose to pay a $125 change-fee to take a later flight. At any point prior to departure, you may change to a BLADE flight departing within one week of your original flight for the same $125 fee.
For flights from LGA to NYC, our Flier Relations team will monitor your commercial flight and accommodate you on earlier or later BLADE flights, depending on your ultimate arrival time, for no additional fee. If you choose to change the day of your BLADE flight (one week in either direction), a $125 fee will be applicable.
Upgrade to BLADEflex for $85 and enjoy unlimited free departure time changes to within seven days of your original flight. Without BLADEflex, a $125 fee is applicable for changes in both directions.
Chartering allows you to reserve a private helicopter that leaves at the specific time of your choosing, can wait for you if you're late, and is available 24/7/365. Charter customers receive complimentary aircraft upgrades, as available. Cancel for BLADE credit with no penalty until 24 hours before your departure. Prefer to receive a credit card refund? Purchase cancellation/weather insurance at checkout. Within 24 hours, your flight is non-refundable, but changes are permitted as per the change policy above.
If your flight is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a notification at least 2 hours before your departure time and will automatically be refunded in BLADE credits.
